- Coil Lifter/Pin Driver
The
impact coil lifter is also a tuning pin driver. Coil
lifter on one end and driver on the other.
The
left end is the handle and has a dimple drilled out
in the end so that it becomes a punch if you want to
set the tuning pin a little further down. It is not
intended as a pin driving tool, just to even up slightly
the pin heights.
The
other end goes over the tuning pin and coil when the
string is, say, an octave low, so that when the tool
is used to impact the coil either up or down it will
stay where you want it.
THIS
IS NOT A REPAIR TOOL!!!!!!!!
but a restringing tool to be used as you restring, or
lift as you go.
