- 11" Brass String Seating Rod
This
tool is used to seat all strings at bearing points.
There are two machined tips, one at each end of the
tool. The rod can be used in a combination handle.
One end of the tool has a 45% bend to allow the tool
to seat treble strings on a grand by reaching them from
the action cavity. The shape of the tool allows the
user to seat most treble strings on uprights by gently
lifting the damper while sliding the tool down the wire.
Helps
eliminate false beats caused by the string being up
off the bridge. |
